Roles of the Institution

From Applicant to Councilor

Applicant

What this role may do:Submit a petition for enrollment, receive correspondence from the Office of Enrollment, and inquire about the Ministry.

How one advances:Upon review and approval by the Office of Records, an Applicant becomes an Enrolled Member and receives a sealed credential.

Enrolled Member

What this role may do:Hold a sealed credential, request counsel, attend convocations, participate in stewardship initiatives, and request records.

How one advances:By demonstrated service and standing, an Enrolled Member may be recognized as a Steward or Ambassador upon recommendation and confirmation.

Steward

What this role may do:Participate in the administration of stewardship projects, contribute to community initiatives, and serve under the Office of Stewardship.

How one advances:Stewards of distinguished service may be invited to ministerial formation or seated upon a council.

Ambassador

What this role may do:Represent the Ministry, in honor, in formal correspondence and gatherings with allied institutions; carry official greetings under the protocols of the Ambassadorial Affairs Office.

How one advances:Ambassadors may, with continued service, be called to ministerial office or to a seat on the Council of Governance.

Minister

What this role may do:Conduct sacred rites, offer ministerial counsel, sign ecclesiastical correspondence, and act under the credential of the Office of Ecclesiastical Affairs.

How one advances:Ministers are ordained by the Ministry through the ministerial formation program. Senior service may lead to appointment as Managing Minister or to the Office of the Minister.

Councilor

What this role may do:Sit upon a constituted council, deliberate matters of the institution, vote on resolutions, and confirm appointments within the council's charter.

How one advances:Councilors may be elevated to presiding roles upon the council, or be called to serve upon the Board of Advisors or the Ecclesiastical Tribunal.
