Stewardship

Land, Family & Community Restoration

The Ministry's work of stewardship is the responsible administration of resources, families, and communities for the generations to come.

In Plain Language

What Stewardship Means Here

Stewardship is the principle that nothing entrusted to the Ministry — whether land, resources, records, or relationships — is held as private property. Each is received in trust, kept in honor, and passed on in equity to those who come after. The Office of Stewardship oversees this work in concert with the councils and other offices of the institution.

Initiatives

Three Areas of Restoration

Land Stewardship

Care of lands and properties held in trust for the institution — including responsible use, conservation, and inter-generational planning. The Ministry holds land as stewardship, not as private possession.

Family Restoration

Programs that strengthen the family as the principal unit of the community — counsel for households, support through life transitions, and the preservation of lineage and heritage.

Community Restoration

Outreach and renewal initiatives that restore dignity to the community at large — service projects, cultural gatherings, and partnerships with allied institutions of good faith.
